The two of us
Not a startup with a growth team. Two people in Stillwater, Minnesota, who got tired of what happens after the coffee run.
Why this exists
Every crew has a runner — the one who says “I'm going, who wants anything?” and comes back balancing a drink carrier and a mental spreadsheet. The run itself is one of the good rituals. The aftermath isn't: the half-remembered orders, the “I'll get you back,” the $4.75 that outlives the friendship that loaned it.
So we built the tool we wanted: one link that collects the crew's order, one screen that does the math, and then it gets out of the way. Here's the whole anatomy of a run.
What we refuse to build
These are features, not gaps:
We do send push notifications — to you, and to friends who are in the run — when you've allowed them: you're invited, last call, settling up. Only ever people already in the run, and always your choice. Exactly what we send →
When you email us, you get us
There's no support department to escalate to — you're already at the top. Email hello@coffee360.org and it reaches the two of us. We're not staffed around the clock, so a reply can take a few days — we'd rather say that than post hours we can't keep. Most answers are already on the help page, including what to expect when you write to us.
The founding crews
Right now Coffee360 is a small friends-and-family beta: a handful of crews running real coffee runs and telling us exactly what's clunky. If you're one of them — thank you. You're not testing the app so much as authoring it. If you'd like in, the waitlist is here (and here's why there is one).
